Beech Street Family Fund
In 1999, Bill Hale recognized that there was a need to help some of our coworkers at Beech Street and their families. He knew that the holidays were a special time of year, but that they could also be a time that is difficult for some people. Out of his desire to see that all Beech Street employees enjoy a happy holiday season, he created the Beech Street Family Fund.
In the beginning, the Family Fund consisted of cash amounts given by the company alone. Over the years, Beech Street employees have jumped into the swing of things, raising money through the year with creative and original fundraising campaigns. At the end of the year, this money is matched by the company and given out confidentially to special employees who have been nominated by their coworkers.
Beech Street employees are the heart of the Family Fund, and the Fund is just another example of our family-oriented culture and our commitment to the value of Community.
